Many people are beginning to grow their natural medicine cabinets at home to care for their families minor ailments from a holistic perspective. I could write a thousand separate blog posts about what is in my medicine cabinet because I just LOVE all the opportunities to heal from home, but here are a few of my favorites that I believe should be in everyones home collection for everyday pain management.

Pain management at home:

Arnica: arnica is a strong homeopathy that provides comfort to pain such as a throbbing bump on the knee or even joint pain. Arnica is a favorite in our home because it is quick to begin working

CuraMed: CuraMed is a great option for dealing with long term inflammation in joints, digestive tract or any other location in the body. CuraMed is made up of concentrated curcumin. Many people have heard of turmerics healing properties to reduce inflammation- Curcurmin is the potent material within turmeric that amplifies that process. One 750 mg capsule of CuraMed is equivalent to 500 turmeric capsules. I have been taking two capsules of CuraMed at bedtime for almost a year now and am so grateful for the positive impacts I have seen on my health such as decreased joint pain, increased gastrointestinal health and improved sleep.

Comfrey Cream: My husband swears by comfrey cream anytime he has a sore muscle from the gym, an achey knee from skiing or a simple bruise. Comfrey works to reduce inflammation while helping ease pain and discomfort in the area. I like to use comfrey on my abdomen during my period and find that it is very beneficial in reducing cramp pains.
